For this painting my color palette included French Ultramarine, Cobalt Blue, Permanent Rose, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Lemon, Yellow Deep, Yellow Ochre Pale, Viridian and Titanium White.

I’ve heard it said that if you want to be a writer, write. If you want to be a painter, paint. And so I begin.

Since then I’d painted in oils from time to time. Loving every minute of it, yet still prioritizing my never-ending household to-do list over my art. This month it changes. I take control of my time and expectations. I’m prioritizing painting!
